Shopkeeper/buyer Linda Sharpe bought Mad About Shoe in June ‘09 because she was just that: mad about shoes. A long time Arlington resident, Linda is a real estate broker with Hammond Residential Real Estate and spends most of her time in and around Winchester. She is the woman who shops at Mad About Shoe. Driven, independent, and stylish, Linda has the perfect sense for making the boutique both beautiful and always a reliable source for that perfect something.

Hometown: Pittsfield, MA in the beautiful Berkshires
Oranges or apples: Apple pie
4 necessities in handbag: Besides my wallet, those items would be - my blackberry, my favorite Fendi sunglasses, my very old but lucky Waterman pen (red and with the enamel wearing off) and a Dr. Hauschka lip care stick
Favorite eatery: Too many to list - I'm a foodie and dedicated omnivore.
Favorite item in store: Aquatalia short boots in asphalt patent named Rouge. Just the right heel height with a cool buckle. Great with pants, very mod!
Favorite fall recipe: Turkey meatloaf (spiced up with a little bit of hot peppers mixed in), along with roasted parsnips, carrots and squash, and wild rice.
Coffee or tea: Coffee, in any form - espresso, cappuccino, or just a cup w/skim milk, but definitely caffeinated.
Leather or suede: Both

Pair of shoes even your bank account knew you could not live without? My Michael Kors "Berkley" heels in black with a gold zipper up the front. I wear them every chance I get!
Favorite local Eatery? China Sky - the best wonton soup I've ever had.
Favorite Item in store? The blue suede Rook boots by Aquatalia. They are so unexpected and elegant yet they are not overwhelming.
Favorite Fall recipe? My mom's apple pie recipe.

Leather or Suede? This is a hard one... but I'll have to go with leather. Suede shoes are great, but you can't have a suede bag.
